Measure your wrist snugly with a strip of paper, then add half an inch for a close fit or a full inch for a looser drape. Most men land between 8 and 9 inches. Sizing is the thing most people get wrong buying online, and it's worth two minutes before you order.

Clasp type matters more than it gets credit for. A lobster or box clasp with a safety catch is what you want on anything heavy, since that's the failure point on most lost bracelets.

Can a gold bracelet be resized?

Most link and chain bracelets can, by removing or adding links. Solid bangles and cuffs usually can't. We have onsite jewelers who handle this work, so ask about a specific piece and we'll tell you what's possible.

How heavy should a men's gold bracelet be?

Anywhere from around 10 grams for a slim link up to 80 grams or more for a wide solid Cuban. Weight drives both the look and the price far more than length does.

What's the difference between solid and hollow?

Hollow gives you more size for the money but dents more easily and is harder to repair. Solid costs more at the same width and lasts considerably longer under daily wear.
